What: Mini-workshops & research help
When: Tuesday, February 6th, 2:00pm - 8:00pm
Where: On campus - Library, First Floor Gallery or
Online - Blackboard Library Resource Center via Collaborate Ultra (Chrome browser recommended)
The Library Resource Center is located in Blackboard. Self-enroll to have access while you are a student at Regent.
You will discover helpful library and academic resources and services available to you and how to access them. Come with questions and/or research topics & get help from a Regent Librarian to Jumpstart your Research! (Don't forget to bring your assignment!)
All sessions will be streamed via Bb Collaborate Ultra in the Library Resource Center
You can choose to attend the sessions either in the afternoon or the evening.
2:00 – 4:00: 4 sessions (15 min. sessions w/ 15 min in between)
2:00-2:15 Evaluating Sources/Anatomy of a Scholarly Article
2:30-2:45 Basic Steps
3:00-3:15 Plagiarism – Writing Coaches
3:30-3:45 Beyond the Basics (one session for online students and one session for on-campus students)
4:00 – 6:00: Librarians available for assistance - on campus and via Bb Collaborate Ultra
6:00 – 8:00: 4 sessions (15 min. sessions w/ 15 min in between)

6:30-6:45 Basic Steps
7:00-7:15 Plagiarism – Writing Coaches

After you've attended each mini-workshop, you will be prompted to complete a brief reflection in the Blackboard Library Resource Center. For each reflection you complete, you will earn a Blackboard Badge. If you attend and respond to all 4 workshops and reflections, your name will be entered into the drawing for a $50 Amazon gift card. Two gift cards will be awarded, one to an on-campus student and one to an online student.
