Please take a few minutes to watch our tutorial.
Due to the fact that so many of our supplying libraries close during the Christmas Holiday, we will be reducing regular requesting of ILL materials. Effective December 15, 2016, all book requests received after this date will be held and processed beginning January 3, 2017. We will continue to process article requests until December 20, 2016.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a FREE borrowing and loaning book service. ILL obtains books, articles, book chapters, and other research materials not owned by Regent University Library for students, faculty and staff. Due to copyright restrictions alumni may ONLY request books and not articles.
Distance Students (DE) can request circulating books to be shipped to your home that Regent Library owns and you can also request articles. Additionally, Interlibrary Loan will borrow from other libraries up to 2 books per semester that are unavailable in the Regent collection. This service is available for DE students that live within the Continental United States. Please keep in mind that the items are first delivered to Regent Library then shipped to your address which will result in a shorter check-out period. Due to the shorter check-out period, you may want to consider using your local public library ILL department for this service.
Public patrons are not eligible for Regent University ILL services; however we encourage all public patrons to use their local public libraries for all ILL needs.
If you are a Law student you must register with ILL through Regent University Law Library. ACLJ should also use the Law Library ILL department for requesting materials.
ILLiad is the resource sharing management software used by Regent University Library to process all ILL requests. The ILLiad system allows patrons to place ILL requests, track requests, check due dates, renew items, and view ILL borrowing history. Every patron is required to fill out a one-time registration form to set up an ILLiad account. Each item must be requested online at Regent University Library’s website through the patron’s ILLiad account. Please DO NOT request textbooks!

NOTICE: WARNING OF COPYRIGHT RESTRICTIONS
The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted materials.
Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research". If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use", that user may be liable for copyright infringement.
Regent University Library reserves the right to refuse to accept a copy request if fulfillment of that request involves violating copyright law.
