UNIV 100 & Online Research at Regent

Many of our library resources are online, and others can be mailed or scanned for you! Our librarians can also help you with research or any questions through chat, email, & appointments!

Start with the library's Primo search for articles & books.  Be sure to log in! Here's where to look for research:
 

1. Primo searches everything we have. You can choose the type of source you want in the left margin of Primo using filters (books, e-books, articles, videos, etc.). Also try Google Scholar, which links to Regent Library's academic articles.
 

Saving Favorites & Citing Sources: In Primo, you can also save your favorites with the "thumbtack" icon, or get a citation for the source by clicking on the "quotation mark" icon. 

Hold, Digital Chapter, & InterLibrary Loan Requests: If you see a print book you want from Regent's Library, click "Request Regent's Copy" or "Request PDF of Chapter." If you see a source in Primo that's owned by a partner library, click "Get it for me" or "Get digital copy."
 

2. Try the Databases Next: After you've tried our Primo search, explore our individual subject databases, full of articles, e-books, & films. Note that you can narrow the list of databases down by the subject you need at the top (such as education, divinity/religion, business, psychology, etc.). Also try Google & Google Scholar.
