Domesday Book

A full-color facsimilie of the Great Domesday book, with modern translation, the complete maps, and an index of people and places. This is accompanied by the Little Domesday, an indexed facsimilie and translation of details of the census for Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk counties, including the original circuit returns documenting individual holdings, down to the chicken!

Early American Political Sermons

This fascinating collection of individually-bound early-American election and political sermons was acquired from an antiquarian bookseller in 1992. These sermons date from 1631 to 1794, and are maintained in the Law Library Special Collections Room.
