About the Colloquium Series
Regent Law faculty seek to engage, inspire, and transform legal thought through scholarship and service. Colloquia provide a forum for faculty to highlight recent scholarship and to exchange ideas and seek feedback from colleagues on recent publications and works in progress. This academic year, the faculty invites law students to join the discussion!
Sponsored by Regent University Law Library
Book Launch and Presentation: Law and Economics in Jane Austen The Law Library Faculty Colloquium Series is delighted to co-sponsor this event with the University Library's Spotlight on Faculty Scholarship Series. Regent Law Professor Lynne Marie Kohm and Kathleen Akers, M.B.A., will present their new interdisciplinary book, Law and Economics in Jane Austen. This work traces principles of law and economics in sex, marriage, and romance as set out in Austen's novels, revealing how those same principles are still relevant in modern relationships, lending a timeless appeal to Austen's work. Students and faculty are invited. View profile >>
