Research Steps: Where to Look

Try the following steps (in any order):

1. Primo library search of our books & articles.  Sign in & save favorites, get citations, place holds, or make requests.

2. Google Scholar search of our articles & beyond: a powerful search. (Link to us: menu, Settings, Library Links)

3. Databases: click "Subjects" and select your field, like Divinity or Psychology. Or click "Type" and a genre like "News."

4. Also try our subject Guides to get librarians' recommendations on databases, etc. 

5. See the Reading Lists and recommended databases below.  

6. Use Google to find ideas, news & magazine articles, think tanks, religious sources, & classic sources. 

7. Get LibKey Nomad to link instantly to a library source from a citation online (such as from Wikipedia or Amazon).

8. Make an appointment with or submit a question to a librarian to make sure you are finding the best sources.
