This LibGuide was created to help International Students learn about Regent University Library resources and succeed in conducting library research.

Borrowing Privileges

Regent Graduate Students

  • Graduate students may borrow up to 50 books. (Doctoral Students - unlimited)
  • The borrowing period is three weeks.
  • Books may be renewed online up to 2 times.
  • Graduate students have access to Interlibrary Loans, Consortium Loans, and Inter-campus Lending.
  • Graduate students have remote access to licensed electronic resources.
  • Fines are charged for overdue items, and replacement costs are charged for lost items.

Regent Undergraduate Students

  • Undergraduate students may borrow up to 25 books.
  • The borrowing period is three weeks.
  • Books may be renewed online up to 2 times.
  • Undergraduate students have access to Interlibrary Loans, Consortium Loans, and Intercampus Lending.
  • Undergraduate students have remote access to licensed electronic resources.
  • Fines are charged for overdue items, and replacement costs are charged for lost items.

Distance Students

  • Distance patrons may borrow up to 10 books from this campus library only.
  • The borrowing period is six weeks.
  • Books may be renewed online one time.
  • Distance patrons do have access to Interlibrary Loans, but not Consortium Loans.
  • Distance patrons do have remote access to licensed electronic resources.
  • Fines are charged for overdue items, and replacement costs are charged for lost items.

 

 

Requesting Material

If the item you want is checked out, please request the item through Primo.

 

Checking Out Materials

Library materials may be borrowed from the Regent University Library by bringing the items to the Circulation Desk during normal library hours along with your student ID.

If you need assistance finding items, please ask at the Circulation Desk.

Information on what may be borrowed, for how long, and how much overdue fines are can be found by picking the proper tab above.

Renewing Material


Renewals may be requested by email to circ@regent.edu, by calling (757)352-4150, or by bringing proper ID to the Circulation Desk. Items may also be renewed online from the Library webpage, before the due date.  Renewals and checkout privileges can be viewed under the borrower's privileges  tab above.
