This LibGuide was created to help International Students learn about Regent University Library resources and succeed in conducting library research.

Reserving Study Rooms

To reserve a study room, please submit this Study Room Request form to the Circulation Desk. Please note the following policies:

  • Current Doctoral students (in good standing with the library) may request the use of a Doctoral Study Station in our Doctoral Study Suite. Study stations are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis and are based upon availability. One application will be accepted per semester, and all applications are subject to approval.
  • Regent Library items checked out to your personal account may also be left in your study station. Please ensure that any library books In the room are checked out and that the receipts are prominently displayed in the provided tiny folder, or the item will be returned to the shelf.
  • Please keep reference books and library journals on the first floor of the library.
  • Personal items should not be posted on the walls or doors. Regent University Library is not responsible for any personal items left in the room.
  • Study rooms are opened periodically for cleaning and inspection. Please abide by all food, drink, and noise policies that apply to the second floor. This includes ensuring that all study rooms have no visible food left in them when not in use. Any food-type items left in the room must be out in a sealed container.
  • The study room should be cleared of all personal items and circulating materials by the last day your room is reserved. You will receive a reminder notice. There will be a $10.00 replacement fee charged if the key is not returned.
  • Study Suite privileges are sustained at the discretion of the Head of Access Services.
  • Thank You for your cooperation! If you have any questions or concerns regarding your Study Room, please feel free to contact Christine Payne at (757) 352-4159 or chripa4@regent.edu.
