Call Numbers
Regent University Library uses the Library of Congress (LC) Classification system, which arranges items by subject so that similar subjects are shelved and/or grouped together.
Call numbers appear in two formats (in several lines on the spines of books and in a single line in the catalog) and are read from top to bottom and left to right, as shown below:
