Course Reserves Policies & Procedures

Course reserves are physical books and media from the library's collection or personal copies that instructors have requested to be made available at the Resource Desk for current students to check out during library hours. Loan periods and rules vary based on the instructor's request; each course reserve should have a label that tells you the checkout period and if it is in-library use only.

Regent University Library strives to make as many course materials as possible available via Reading Lists in Canvas, working with instructors to make these items easily accessible in one place for students. If your course does not have a reading list set up yet, please contact your instructor and send a suggestion to reserves@regent.edu.

How to Make A Suggestion for A Reading List

You can also suggest items to library staff and professors that you think should be added to the reading list in the future.
